AD(H)D affects not only the individual but frequently the couple relationship too — when one partner has AD(H)D, or when both do. Differing needs for structure and spontaneity, recurring misunderstandings, the division of everyday tasks or peaks of emotional strain can increasingly challenge the relationship. With AD(H)D Support for Couples you receive, together, a professionally grounded reading of these dynamics as well as concrete, workable approaches for dealing with one another.
Together we work out which patterns are connected to AD(H)D and which themes exist independently of it. The aim is to foster mutual understanding, defuse recurring points of conflict and develop strategies that genuinely hold in shared everyday life. Because starting point and need differ greatly from couple to couple, this service too is deliberately offered not as a package but as sessions for two according to individual need.
AD(H)D Support for Couples replaces no psychotherapy and no classical couples therapy. It includes no diagnostics and no medication advice. Where deeper couples-therapeutic or psychotherapeutic themes are in the foreground, going beyond the AD(H)D-related dynamics of everyday life, we refer to suitable specialist services.

- sessions for two of 60–75 minutes, frequency and number agreed individually
