Who it's for
You know what is difficult right now. That is enough to start with.
You can start from your situation or from yourself. Both paths lead to the right service — neither requires a diagnosis.
Path A
By situation
What best describes your situation? Each card leads directly to the service designed for it.
The situation is escalating right now
In case of acute danger to yourself or others, suicidality or a medical emergency, crisis orientation cannot be used. Then the rule is: call first.
Path B
By person
Our services are aimed at people in different phases of life and situations.
What NAHVA deliberately is not
Transparency matters to us. So that you can judge whether NAHVA fits your situation, we state clearly what we do not offer.
No psychotherapy or medical treatment
We do not make diagnoses, do not carry out psychotherapeutic or medical interventions and do not adjust medication.
Not an emergency or crisis service
We are not reachable around the clock. In acute psychiatric or medical crises we refer you to the responsible specialist and emergency services.
No conventional coaching
We do not look only at individual goals or performance, but at the whole life context: relationships, family, school, training, work and social environment.
No socio-educational family support under an official mandate
Our support is voluntary, specialised in AD(H)D and independent of official mandates.
Our support is meant as a complement to existing medical, therapeutic, school and social services. Where it makes sense, we work together with doctors, therapists, schools, authorities and other professionals.
